The Seven Signatories 1916 collection is produced by Lee Brothers Limited a wholly Irish owned company based in Santry, Dublin.
The company was founded in 1943 as a jewellery manufacturing company at a time when imports to Ireland were severely disrupted during World War II. In more recent times the company ceased making jewellery and having been medal makers for many years’ decided to concentrate on that side of the business.
At this time we produce high quality medals for many important events including National and International sporting tournaments and count among our clients the Football Association of Ireland, the GAA, the Irish Amateur Boxing Association and Gymnastics Ireland. In addition we make award medals for universities, colleges and schools as well as local events and marathons.
We have also produced several series of historically themed medals marking such events as the Great Famine, the 1798 Rebellion and important characters from Irish history like Michael Collins, Michael Davitt and Daniel O’Connell.
In 2012 Lee Brothers were chosen to produce the commemorative medal for the 2012 International Eucharistic Congress which was held in Dublin that year.
